Right now they are just taking comments on it to see if it will sell well. If the messages are overwhelmingly positive then they may start production. Problem is that their site is in spanish

We could send a cable to you for fabrication...if the person has one to send. The real question is, couldn't you use a cable from a dead DC controller? Also, is there a chance of creating a revised browser for the DC that could utilize the 2GB flash drive like a cache or HDD to allow media and other heavier usage online than the current browsers can use?
Do you remember the short lived Linux for PS2 thing? It was a kit that allowed you to connect an external HDD to the evil Sony PS2 box. This same concept could apply here.
