ChuChu Rocket! Is Back Online!

Totally late to the party but one word... just WOW. Did not expect this game to come back.

Thanks to all those involved! I forget where I read but if an open source release is planned then I'd be happy to host a dedicated server.

seem to always be stuck on server connecting. is the server down?

Are you using a real dial-up ISP? I'm hearing reports that this doesn't work because of something to do with the DNS server being overridden by the ISP. The DreamPi setup works as it pretends to be an ISP and sends the right DNS server.

No i am using pc-dc server although i do have real dial up too

Got some time over, so here is a quick update:
Following features will be added:
1. Registration - reg. your own nick, no need to type in u/p - Progress 100%
2. Puzzle Land - Upload your own puzzles/Download others - Progress 100%
3. When pepople join the server a notification in the chat will be shown - Progress 100%
4. Several players on one DC can play online against others. - Progress 80%

When this is stable I will host it on a server 24/7 so I can evaluate the code.
If the code pass the test, I will release it open-source and
move on to investigate other game.

The real dial-up facility I used didn't allow me to connect to the server either.
