The game is canceled.
Do not ask for source code or anything else to be released. I've deleted everything related to the project, backup CDs are thrown away (including latest KGL build with unfinished downtown area), dreamcast is sold and I have zero reasons to visit these forums.
End of story.
Developing for almost two decades old hardware nobody cares about was a totally retarded idea anyway.

look good go my friend. also i recomend you to buy gdemu is a cd emulator loading both cdis and gdis from an sd card. google gdemu and im sure you will like it. lets keep the dc alive

I am aware of that, but honestly I don't really need any of those. The game is supposed to be played from a regular CD, just like the others, so I'll have to make sure it runs smoothly in such a case (loading times etc)
SD adapter might be a good idea though, since it's much slower, but we'll see.

I'll take it into consideration, thanks. But personally, I think it's a bit too early to build hype now (not that I have facebook account anyway). I usually don't reveal projects unless they are mostly done, but this time I made an exception, because either way, you will get something playable eventually , be it a finished game or just some tech demo.


Also, there are various problems and limits with KGL (an OpenGL implementation for KallisiOS). So far, I managed to find workarounds for most cases, but there is still a lot to test before I can safely say that everything is stable and ready for production.
