Timenudge is only slightly useful online, us Aussies used to use it all the time back on Seganet because we thought it reduced lag a bit but in reality it was just an illusion.Retrosanctum99 wrote:Hey i def wanna come, iv forgot the many comands to help improve latency.
Does anyone know a few?
I remember snaps and mabye timenudge but thats it.
Peace out
Its only real benefit is offline, practicing with simulated lag... for example:
;cl_timenudge 400
That would give you 400ms of lag offline, which would be great to practice if your online lag is usually 400ms.... if that makes any sense lol
I do remember there was a command that made a slight difference to something in your connection, and it allowed you to jump slightly higher, very slightly though.
The map Lost World has a mega health on a raised ledge thats only accessible by going around the corner past the shotty, bouncing up on a pad and dropping down a small hole. The command I can't remember gave you just enough of a nudge to be able to jump straight up to it from below. It wasn't anti gravity or anything like that, just a slight tweak to something in the games backend that gave slight gains.
