Half-Life and Quake 2 GD-ROMs

Post by Jaseman »

This guy on ebay is selling what seems to be Quake 2 and Half-life GD-Roms. Now I imagine this will go for around 50 so would somebody please snatch these up and rip em? I wanna see what the diff is with what we have (Remember: There was never released a Quake 2 Gdrom.)

Carefull as when I asked regarding Shenmue 2 discs he had there listed as NTSC-U and I asked he promptly blocked me ... so come to think of it its a little shady...

He might not be trying to pull of that they are real gd-roms. But it's like a crime to sell those. You could just burn them yourself for free.

I'm sure he just printed out some covers (with a good color printer and cd labels) that maybe he made himself or just found. It would be really sad if he's trying to say they are real gd-roms.

You can download emu q2 for Dc. And half life was leaked.

I do not see the phrase "GD-ROM" one the page. I do see the fake discs. None of which follows the Sega standards for printing (logos, etc...). The photo was clever as to not give the buyer a really good look. He easily could have downloaded the cover artwork, but that would have had graphics on it that he could not have easily covered up.

Quake 2 was never officially released on DC. It was homebrew.

I wouldnt even bother bidding for that crap...

Also Half life, discs were never pressed, it did not even reach pre-production discs ( whiter labels and such ). The original ones were on a development GDR ( orange sega confidential ones ) ones. That's just the leaked golden version burnt onto a CD then added a crappy sticker.

The only thing that made me think they were real is the disc art. So bye-bye bastard! Your getting reported!

the CD arts are TOO SHINY, the shenmue 2 ones (never released in USA only europe and japan... ) are kinda mate or opaque, not metal shiny like those...
Mostly allof his stuff is fake, plus he wont sell in case within any of them which is even more suspicious...
Nice try you fool! lol BBQ!
