Yeah but he did say it might be a reproduction and that someone contacted him about it I just didn't notice it as I am using the app and don't always click on item description( or he updated it after I bid).
Is it still fair to ask for a return?

Is that even allowed on ebay? And by that I mean: can you sell something if you do not know what it is?

eBay does not condone the sale of counterfeit / illegal copies, thus this so called "reproduction" is not allowed to be sold at eBay anyway. I refuse to believe the seller did not know what he was selling. I would highly recommend filing a complaint and get back what is rightfully yours, your money!

Be sure to file a complaint with PayPal to get a full reimbursement for both the item and shipping, seeing you received an counterfeit product. The seller knew what he was selling and was even contacted by members of this community telling him it was a fake copy, he decided to keep the listing active and sell it anyway.
