here, i guess i can give you a bit of proof that everyone i can find says that each color is the same. this is not just my opinion. it comes from the person who cracked all the betas and other sources. you are the first one that i have seen to be making such a claim.

For some reason, almost every racing game seems to do really well via Bleemcast

and then just below that he goes on to say

Rumor has it that there were five Bleemcast beta discs, all color-coded that went with specific colored DC's for testing. No matter what you may read around the net, all of the colors are the same versions of the beta

here is what a forum member at www.1emulation.com said that he found in the blue beta packs instructions. note the line about the other 4 betas.

Burn with DiscJuggler, tell DiscJuggler NO when it asks if you want to repair the image.
Yes it plays backups.
No it doesnt work with all games, some games have graphical errors.
Yes its self booting.
Yes this is a beta, bleemcast.
This is the BLUE version.
Just in case you're wondering about the other 4 versions/colors of bleemcast... the person who cracked it found they are all identical.

these are not the only 2 places where this information is stated. i could try to dig more of it up, but would it even convince you? i doubt it! so find me something, anything, that says that the blue is the best for racing games!

*clap clap* Well done. You gave me some supporting testimony. Thats all I wanted... To prove it one way or another. Although I already knew this you understand . I was just worrying that I had some issue so that people wouldn't respond in a thread after me . So yeah. It seems to be true then. Although when somebody cracks all the colors I WILL test just for the heck of it as Smith says there seems to be some differences in the CDs.

i thought all 4 have been cracked? the blue is out and i have the yellow, that makes 2 that i know of for sure. i seem to remember someone having a purple one too? there is one rumored to exist that has not been found. also another that is more completed. the one that is 70% completed is not a rumor though. sony has prevented it from being released to the public. the source code is also under lock and key thanks to Sony.


btw i thought you just wanted to argue. so i tried to steer clear of commenting further.

the only one i have burned to disc is the yellow. i was told that my yellow was the same as the others. so i never burned any of the other ones. Smith my be able to tell you if one runs any better. he has been working with Bleem here at Dreamcast-talk for a while now. he has around 150 games bleemed and even more tested. i have only tested my personal PSX collection and a few others with the beta disc.
