Re: bleem information needed.
Hello there! I myself have not played bleem yet (I am a cheapass with discs) but I have been reading like crazy about it.
The version of bleem released is about 30 percent done and its the blue version unless I am mistaken.
Because of that it works best with racing games as the blue (or whatever color it was) was meant to run 100 racing games perfectly.
Still it does run a good bit of games but unless they are racing games there will be pretty bad glitches and may not boot at all.
Not that it runs perfectly with racing games either. Its only 30 percent done mind you.

this is the first that i have heard of this. i think you are mistaken. all the colors seem to be the same. and they work about the same regardless of the games genre. i could also be mistaken? if anyone knows of the blue version working better than other colors for racing games please ring in with some test results.Jaseman wrote: The version of bleem released is about 30 percent done and its the blue version unless I am mistaken.

I have been reading a good bit and I DO belive that the leaked copy is the one that is meant to play games from the racing genre. Supporting this theory is the fact that racing games tend to run pretty well on the BLEEM beta. And yes: It is 30 percent done. I think its the blue version. Not exactly sure. I may have done more research than even Smiths did

na, racing games run no better than other genres of games. in fact games like apocalypse and command & conquer run better than any of the racing games that i have tried. a few that i have tried are Grand Turismo 1 and 2 and a couple of the ridge racers. smith bleemed many of them if you would like to check out the games mentioned.Jaseman wrote:I have been reading a good bit and I DO belive that the leaked copy is the one that is meant to play games from the racing genre. how ever Grand Turismo 2 and the official Bleem disc is kick ass. all of my opinions are based on playing the games and not necessarily what i read! i can not say what the Bleem betas were originally intended for with 100% accuracy, but i can speak from experience as to what games perform well.

Whatever
Try the 007 racing game. Understand this: Its the BLUE disc which means its for RACING games and such. Like THPS4 and other games will work quite well as it is meant to emulate games of similar parts of the PS1.

seemingly whenever I reply something somewhere in the heat of battle (Figurative) and I post something remotely coherent people decide to ditch the thread without a reply.

Jaseman there just is no way to prove one way or the other what the colors were for! at least not from information that can be found off the web. if you want to prove that the blue is best for racers. then you need to test it and the other colors and show the blue out performing the other colors. also if blue is for racing then what are the other colors for? perhaps other genres? if so what one? why claim this about the blue? do you have sources for this claim?Jaseman wrote:seemingly whenever I reply something somewhere in the heat of battle (Figurative) and I post something remotely coherent people decide to ditch the thread without a reply.
i guess in short, i am the one who made the argument that it makes no sense that the blue is for racing games. i made it based on the lack of evidence to support your claim. so why keep trying to debate something that cant be proven. the whole thing is moot.... so why care if no one keeps it up? i could stop by every day to say your wrong if you like
