That isn't too bad of a resolution. I mean, the typical VCD is around that same res, and modern video compression techniques solve a lot of compression issues, so I think I'm going to have to look in to that. thx
Its not something i recommend you to watch new movies with , but ofc its ok to watch classics with that you already seen before :)

DCMC is the fastest and used all hardware to the max which shows the dreamcast hardware is to slow for even 640x480 proper opengl hardware rendering with video formats..

you should check fuzzcast for native 640x480 movie packs which use softdec sega's fmv katana even when they did it they had to use non gpu there is just not enff bandwidth to do proper hardware rendering with this machine..

Lol. I don't mind if video isn't 480p. I grew up on VideoNow and Gen 1 Ipod Touch. Low res is no issue for me. Does DCMC run on CD-R though, cause my DC is unmodified.

Yes it does but like i said works perfect on demul but not on hardware right now.. trying to debug find out why..
