well in dc talk you will have no fsod on dreamcast, the worsdt thing you can get is that kireek ( in pc ) joins your game and puts you in a standstill status ( which is not a fsod ) you will not lose anything but you will have to log in again...

If kireek joined and you "freezed" with the XXXX is joining the game please wait and some time has passed just press A+B+X+Y+START and you will log off, save data ( YOU WONT LOSE ANYTHING, not even the inventory ) and log in again

Next time if anyone wants me then i will make the game.

I often save when i find a uber or a weapon that will replce something in my inventory (like a better red handgun), it's up to you to decide if you want to do that online.

No, I was using my level 37 Ironman character. Smith uses "Smith". Smith is one of the key reasons we play PSO here. There was alot of work put into getting the server to where it is...FREE UNPAID WORK! This gets back to "if you can do better, please do it", don't cry me a river of tears...boo, hoo! It's a game, play nice, have fun being this is our KIDDIE time from the adult world.

I am really happy that we have another PSO server option from the Nazi-World of O.C. (Offline Consoles) and the Schthack PSO server (PSO = Portuguese Status Offline).

I donate here because they (DC-Talk) does not have to do this, but they do. The people who are a part of this community that contribute to the server do it of the passion for keeping the little white box alive.

I am sorry that the server here is not good enough for you, please feel free to join another PSO server group or do something to better our free community server, but please do something positive...anything positive.

I am sorry to hear you have an issue with Smith, but please keep those things to yourself. I will not tolerate your immaturity. It's a game, be happy someone is even keeping it alive and offering users the help to get online unlike Offline Consoles who takes the credit for everything and is "too busy" to help anyone but is right there to lay down his dictatorship if you post something he does not approve of. Here at "DREAMCAST-TALK" we are very happy & open to our users and their posts. Even if they are a PC PLAYER because at least they have a passion for the Dreamcast, not everyone has the luxury to get the equipment or find time to set up a Dreamcast connection to play online. And that is fine, I do not see why it is a problem. They still contribute a lot to us. Like Dobbs for example, he has made some VERY nice artwork for homebrew games. Smith is the catalyst of why we have servers, if you have such a problem with the things you mentioned and are just going to continue whining over it, DON'T PLAY.

Lol, you got my point. Red ring was just an example. But you understood what i meant, theres always gonna be that risk to keep playing without saving it in to the VMU after getting a nice drop. But yea yea now i know about the /save command, thanks again.

Dont get me wrong, this isnt a "this sucks, im leaving post". The title says it clearly: its a mixed impressions. Nothing is perfect right? And i felt it would be nice to discuss my impressions and sharing them.. And i think i done well, in fact ive learn workarounds. I wont leave because im aware the alternatives are actually worse. I prefer small but nice community. Remember, i joined here before even having a dreamcast! That pretty much says a lot, right? Unless youu guys wants me off? o_O Im aware non official software isnt as good as official(most of the times). So i just came here not to complain and act like a bitch like you think im doing but to share my impressions and people troubleshoot me with workarounds. By the way thanks again for telling me about the /save command and the double save trick vmu.

I know him for 6 years or something and hes nice to me, i just said that as a joke like Bob said "dont kill me".. Im sorry that was really immature from my part. Regarding what you said about PC player, i agree too they have their place here like any other, im not a nazi. Server supports both platforms and yes i do realize not everybody can afford an internet ready dreamcast. Yet, id be on Neoblast's side this time when he says PC players shouldnt join DC's made games, when they make them freeze. This reminds the smoker and non smoker dilemma in public places... Both should be welcome, i mean, i have NOTHING against pso pc player, ive been one a long time ago. But if i knew i would cause crashing others players, i wouldnt do the things that cause it, you understand me? Like, back when i was a smoker, and if i was having dinner with someone who hates the smoke i wouldnt smoke. But that wouldnt stop me from smoking right after we get out of the restaurant. Just an example, i hope you the image comparison. I dont wanna BLOCK pc players, but id be nice to have some kind of rules to both can play without one disturbing the others. Do you understand what i mean?

No one is asking you to leave, including myself. What I am saynig is that you have freedom of choice. I really did not like the "Kill Smith" thing, this really set me off because you did not state that in a way that was conducive to humour (meaning the intent of humour is not even remotely present).

I hope you can enjoy your life here at DC-Talk and you are truly welcome. I just want you to understand that we love the white box and being able to at least play online somewhere with it; that means respecting the people here and their great accomplishments. I just wish I could contribute more on the level that the others have...notably Impulse, Smith, Gary-b, Neoblast and others.
