Adding to Time Stalkers since I feel a lot of people look past that one, it uses a more Roguelike approach. You start each dungeon at level one, but can keep certain things for future runs, such as monsters you catch.
I really like the character designs, done by Yoshitaka Tamaki who did Land Stalkers and the original Shining Force.
Biggest problem with the game is it is sometimes hard to find what advances the story.
