redirection won't work because you don't have a "white" IP
some providers provide a static IP for an additional fee.

I am on Vodafone its a german provider
BUt I need to port forward to the Dreamcast IP address or ? Not the PC or laptop one ?
I went and verified Vodafone is using CGNat so unfortunately port forwarding or DMZ will not work with that provider unless they can provide you with an publicly addressable IP Address. You might call them up and see if that's an option for you. Basically any game you play including those not Dreamcast related that requires port forwarding will not work with internet providers that use CGNat because you share your public ip with thousands of users.

PSO and Quake 3 don't require port forwarding which is why those work for you. Your only options are to get a VPN, use DCNet for games that require port forwarding, or see if your ISP can issue you a public IP.

Thanks for all those information

I already have a VPN therefore what should I do put directly in the router ?

Then try to DMZ the DC IP ?

Maybe that would work

Do you have discord? It would be easier to assist you there.
