I loved it. I watch most superhero movies out of childhood memories and so on stuff. most are high on special effects & shit on story, with this it was half/half imo, the effects are pure eyecandy but I also love the fact that the story isn't so shallow as most of these movies since it also focuses a lot on the lantern history, which imo is a good thing

cool, I'm glad someone else enjoyed it, I can't wait to see it again I've got the extended edition blu ray so hopefully it will be better than I remember it from the cinema. It was just the constructs he made that kinda didn't sit too well with me, they just didn't look right, maybe it was me I dunno, they could've been more... serious? I just felt it wierd that he stopped the chopper by putting wheels on it and rolling it along a track... didn't have that much impact for me, it felt almost like it was tongue in cheek.

Anyway part of my problem when I saw it was that the other people in the screening kept pulling me back out of it, they obviously didn't care and were just laughing whenever lantern put his mask on, which was pretty off putting
