definitely, a fantastic little game and one of the few truly engrossing games on the Dreamcast, it took me months to complete but soooo worth it. And it does look incredible on DC still. IS it VGA compatible? When I say one of the few truly engrossing games I mean that it has a massive, long, complicated campaign, the vast majority of the Dreamcast games are short, pick up and play types, other than the obvious ones like Shenmue, SOA, PSO, JSR, Maken X and a bunch of others. I wish there had been soo many more games like this on the dreamcast in terms of length and awesome character quality and graphics

EDIT: Just seen mention that it does run on VGA, I'm tempted to try this out tonight as I haven't played it in years

This is one of my favorite games.
Once I beat the game, I felt cheated. I collected every power-up, but in reality you don't need them to complete the game. Later on I found out the it was rushed out.
One thing I did like about the PSX version was the no loading time.

um... sorry rushed out? Are you mad? lol, this game had nothing wrong with it whatsoever and the load times are also non existant on the DC version bud, not that I'm suggesting your knocking it personally of course, it is a badass game and I honestly wouldn'tve said it was rushed when I played it all those years ago

not a fan of reviews like that, how was it POSSIBLY rushed to market? And how did the plot have holes? I don't recall any. The only reason there are holes is if you haven't played the original games but that is not the designers/scripters fault. Mental, that game is the nads and is deserving of at least an 8/10 or A

There is a beta of the PSX version with the original ending.
I like the game, is one of my favorites.
I collected every item, spell and at the end you don't need any of them to complete the game.
play it again without getting any of the spells.

no, you mainly use it as a weapon to kill enemies & as a key to open doors. and yes I suppose it upgrades, cos at one point you can use it to shoot enemies down so...
