Since I'm using a virtual machine instead of a Raspberry Pi, is there anything special I need to do to set this correctly? I must have missed something.

Hello, I am quite troubled still by the config.
I can't get the modem to show up in VirtualBox as a Bridged Adapter. May I please get some help? I had bought mine off Dreamcast Live and its a Conexant USB modem.
When I try in VMWare it seems the USB modem but Enter the matrix doesnt fully finish before it quits, says the ttyACM0 isnt working which I think means its not able to connect to the modem. It is connected to Dreamcast Now during the brief sequence that its trying to connect. When I try to connect in VirtualBox I have to use NAT and it works on most games but gives me a 10. address instead of a 192. address and won't connect to Dreamcast Now.

don't use VMWare, only VirtualBox
you can try use USB 1.1 in VirtualBox USB settings

I opened it in another browser and it worked like a charm. Thanks again!

megavolt, do you plan to make a pc-dc iso based on dreampi 1.8? (to make daytona online and future kddi games playable on pc-dc)
