hey buddy, do you have an updated link for the SD compatible iso's? I assume you can only put ones on an SD card that are compatible? Can you not just drop any iso image on the card?

I'm looking at buying a usb SD card reader dongle thing, an 8gb SD card will come with it, are there any limitations in the card readers such as level of transfer speed or the capacity of the SD card? the card I'll get is an 8gb grade 10 sd card. I'd be interested to know if you could store all your VMU saves on the SD Card??

Some of the latest SD cards read and write at over 100Mb/s. Will using these cards improve the flaws inherent in using them to load games on DC ?

No it won't. The reason for commercial games not working well from the SD adapter is the speed of the serial port on the Dreamcast. You can get the fastest SD card in the world but it won't make any difference. The serial port is the bottleneck.

Mmmm, I thought as much. I don't suppose the controller ports have faster data rates ? Afterall they are sort of pre-USB USB's aren't they ? Anyway of connecting an SD card to the controller port a la the vmu ? Or am I in cloud cuckoo land ? lol

just had my card reader and pc card reader delivered, looking forward to trying it all out etc

Sure thing! The Dcisozone site was merged into all the other 6th generation sites on our large network.

About your other questions, I had a 32gb card on mine, and some games wouldn't work, I guess due to the large capacity of the card, but they were mostly retail games anyway.

8GB should be perfect for this thing anyway, not too large, and not too small. It should read applications faster than larger cards.
