From what I see, that thing's supposed to work from the serial port. The serial port has a transfer rate of ~2 Mbits/s, or ~250 KBytes/s. So is it even possile to run a game from this thing?

Yes , but some commecial games have slowdown times . Search videos on youtube about sd adapter .
