Re: Tutorial: How to create your own ScummVM discs.
Well unfortunately I still have a problem with the protection codes necessary to start 5 games.
In the 90s, it was common, to avoid the growing piracy that games impose the entry of a protection code at the start of the game, code that was generally found in the manual. Because at the time a simple copy of floppy disks worked to have a copy of the game bought by his friend or neighbor, that's why we saw circulating versions cracked by groups of hackers like Paradox or Skid Row for example for Amiga where they had cracked the security of the games.
So I'm still stuck on 5 games that always have protection codes at startup : Bargon Attack, Gobliiins 1, Future Wars (known as "Les Voyageurs du temps" in France), Cruise for a corpse and James Bond : The Stealth Affair (known in France as "Operation Stealth").
So I'm still looking for the method to transform amiga games (which are in .ADF) or Atari ST (which are in .ST) so that they can be read on ScummVM.

Re: Tutorial: How to create your own ScummVM discs.
Interesting
i thought all the copy protections were disabled by the Scumm engine
tomorrow i'll make some tries too
about extracting files, i can only help about the Amiga
there are a couple of Windows programs that can do the work, my personal method is using an Amiga emulator on PC,
FS-UAE or Win-UAE, adding a Workbench disk, and copy all the games diskfiles in a PC directory,
using two or more virtual floppy drives (DF0: ,DF1: etc);
consider that quite all the Scumm Amiga games are in standard AmigaDOS format
---EDIT---
confirmed, boring issue, damn, in 2020 having the original copy protection enabled is a nonsense
i have this Bargon Attack Atari ST French release, it seems detected and working great by ScummVM PC (tested with 2.0.0)

Re: Tutorial: How to create your own ScummVM discs.
Thank you but unfortunately does not work
When you get to the protection codes after pressing A during the intro, if it is not good it returns to the main menu of the Dreamcast.
However, I have since found Gobliiins 1 in a multi-language CD version which requires no protection code.
More than 4
