Re: Sonic Adventure XBLA
Hey everyone, the guy that posted the widescreen video figured out what the problem was on SA. If you want it in widescreen, you MUST use composite cables! HDMI for some fucking reason adds borders, but the composites go full on widescreen!
If you have a HDTV, by all means get this great game, just don't expect to get widescreen lest ye use the cables your 360 comes with!

The "widescreen" video is clearly stretched.

Re: Sonic Adventure XBLA
I bet he meant RF instead of composite
So im guessing it just better to play it on the dreamcast?

Yeah, well I was playing the "International" version that Tux translated with english audio last night just for fun. Does the Dreamcast version have borders on modern TV's? I played a bunch of games on the sony bravia we have, and many games got stretched to widescreen.

Does not depend on the game but on the setup. When using VGA, it also stretches on mine, but using composite via capture card, i have a black border. With every single game.Anthony817 wrote:Yeah, well I was playing the "International" version that Tux translated with english audio last night just for fun. Yeah I think it I think you can switch the aspect ratio and the stretching on your TV too. It sill comes down to Sega sucking cock while they should be making quality products.
