you are wrong, look at my fork openmenu
Please watch my video tutorial on openMenu, where you can achieve everything you're asking aboutlegolas119 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2024 12:56 pm thank you, understood.
Unfortunately the OS for GDEMU isn't updated since 2021... i would like to fix some issues into the games list and covers but as it isn't updated, i still have the issues i discovered yeas ago![]()
Just follow my tutorial. That's all you need. Nothing has to be thrown away. You don't need to touch any files on your SD card (assuming that it's already working with either gdMenu or openMenu right now).legolas119 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2024 3:42 pm oh i didn't know that!!!!many thanks, i will watch the video! Well, in order to use your fork instead the current one, how i can do? I mean, which are the files/folders i have to delete in my microSD before to use your OpenMenu fork?
thanks!
The newest version is compatible with all GDEMU models. Make sure you are following the copying instructions properly. Sometimes when you paste a file in windows it might keep an old file.soulfunkdjx wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 7:49 pm I have GDEMUVersion 5.15b.
I have two sd cards. One has openmenu version 1.33 and the second one has the latest 2.0.1.
The problem is that the sd card with openmenu 1.33 is playing perfect and the other sd card with openmenu 2.0.1 is loading ok in menu but it cannot boot games.
I am so confused.
Is the newest version of Openmenu combatible with the GDEMU 5.15b or only with the newer versions of GD EMU????
I did again the same EXACTLY procedure with both versions of OpenMenu. The 1.33 is working fine and booting the games perfectly. The 2.0.1 version can't boot the games, it takes me to the original menu of Dreamcast.pmp174 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 12:00 pmThe newest version is compatible with all GDEMU models. believe me it doesn't matter, he himself admitted that his DreamCast uses a BIOS that is not compatible with MIL-CD, which means that he does not have access to the latest version of openmenu and many games until he replaces his BIOS
