Quake 3 arena connection

Hi, I just got quake 3 arena and I'm wondering how to play online, do I download the server files from dreamcast live or am I ready to play right as I put the game in and connect?

It will play out of the box if you are using a Dreampi or BBA adapter

Please note that with a BBA, you may have to go online here at DC-Talk to the "servers" link above, and enter the IP addy if it fails and you get the "master server not found" message (or something like that).

This is the two Friday servers:
DC DM = 72.223.82.235:27961
DC FFA = 72.223.82.235:27960...this one shows up incorrectly as 49276 on DC-Talk list.
