Dreamcast disc spins for 3 seconds.

So I’ve barely used my Dreamcast, but when I’ve used it, it’s been perfectly fine. Just this morning when I tried to play any game or cd, it spun for 3 seconds and stopped. I have check the laser and the red laser is showing and my ribbon is perfectly fine. I’ve seen the other topics but I haven’t been able to get anything from them. What do I do??

Does it behave the same way when you manually press down the lid switch with your finger?

check the pins betwen the PSU and motherboard, they are a VERY common problem with dreamcasts. Push the 'gates' down a bit on the PSU board to give them a better contact with the pins
