Disagree a bit with the sentiment here as I am more than happy to see these games getting decent quality releases.

I understand if you have the game on Steam or iOS you would baulk at the price but I don't have access to those platforms, and prefer to play on my Dreamcast on a TV (I am an old person!)

I have pre-ordered Finding Teddy as it looked the most engaging of the new releases. Prior to this I bought Another World, Flashback and Fade to Black.

I don't buy all the JoshProd releases but the way I figure it is the more games they manage to sell now will help maintain a steady release pattern and influence what gets licenced and released in the future. If you compare early and later releases there is definitely a progression of quality and diversity.

You really feel there is a progression ?
2 out of the 5 games that are coming are again neogeo emulation...
I’ll be more than happy like you the day they will propose a brand new and exclusive game, but that will never happen.

I wanna say something here about JoshProd.
For me is not that bad to see "ports" as new games for Dreamcast, not all games is everyone but I like to buy that game I found interesting. I have talked with JoshProd a month about to bring more games, he told me is spoke and still with many Indies studios to get license for Dreamcast port but Is not all good because a few studios not agree for legal reasons (SEGA). Also JoshProd they are making a new fighting game for Dreamcast, Saturn and Switch. People (lovely DC fans) if you like to see new games on Dreamcast is good to send emails. messages on every indie studio, who's know maybe found positive to support Dreamcast. I remember the creator of Stardew Valley had not problem to see a DC port.

Be ACTIVE and HUNT!

Hi: Let me understand well the situation: Many studios are not producing games or agree to work on DC games because SEGA prohibit games production by law ?

Whoa. A reply after almost a year and a half.

While SEGA doesn't seem to care one way or the other that people release "retail" games for the Dreamcast nowadays, I think when it comes to JoshProd, they were going after licensed properties from other companies.

With the exception of the upcoming 'Arcade Racing Legends,' I think every game JoshProd has released has been someone else's. In other words: JoshProd is just a publisher. So what he might be saying is that JoshProd can't get any other devs to allow them to publisher their games on Dreamcast.

What I always comes to my mind when it happens is that SEGA completly abandoned Dreamcast project, and therefore Dreamcast users who trusted in the console, so the best SEGA can do is shut up and kiss every Dreamcast project if the company was determined in 2001-2002 to never again release any single game. Nowadays it is the fans who maintain the system alive
