Burned Games Stopped Working ?

OK very strange , my burned cdr games I been playing for a while ,all of a sudden not being booted right.

The common factor of all of them

the all now got like a werid TINY RING Smears in the center ring, they are the same size as the LASER CIRCLE inside the dreamcast.

Seems to be booting my real game factory discs just fine , But I do know the battery for the Inside board has to be replace does not hold the time lol

Either that or it burned the rings into it.

Or perhaps I just need to clean the CD's inner circle , does got a lot of finger prints.

Seems like the common factor is , Less Finger prints on the inner ring, it runs , They are hard to clean off though.

OK Let's see here ,

The only burned disc that is being read now is my VMU Back Up Disc.

My CodeBreaker copy does not , the sport games I been playing all of a sudden does not work ,

But Original Games and music cds are fine.

I'm hoping maybe the CDI ISO simply just went bad ? I got them from REPLAYERS.

anyone got fresh CDI of NFL 2K1 , NHL 2K , and NCAA ROSEBOWL ?

OK here is an update.

Note , I got DREAMCAST Japan.

The Burn USA Games of

NFL 2K1 , NHL 2K , NFL 2K2 , NCAA ROSEBOWL 2K2 , Stopped booting.

BUT I burned a Copy of Japan BIOHAZARD 3 , So far completely fine.

I got my CDI's/ISO's from REPLAYERS.ORG

Possible the sport games files are bad now ?

No way the disc just stops working, i bet its a weak connection, check that link on how to bend the pins back. I think almost all consoles need this little fix nowadays.

OK Cool , I will look into it , I do know the joints were quite stiff , Also the person did not do a good pack job so perhaps something is loose ?
