Dream Eye question

Hi all,

I am wondering if besides collecting, there is any reason to pick up a Dream Eye nowadays?

Does it have any embed games? Can I use it with games? Anything worth checking out?

I had one years ago, was basically just a bad digital camera lol

Its neat to have if you can get one cheap but really not very good or useful

Was there some connectivity with the dreamcast? Could you upload super compressed images to the vmu or something for use with one of the Japanese web browsers?

Yes and even do webcam uses the VISUAL PARK software



Check this out you can do all sorts of things with it
It's rather kool if i ever get when i be doing something with it homebrew for the 3 people that use it
Could take photos edit them put stickers all that using the software lol

When it was working in japan you could talk video chat with your other sega fans lol

Some one needs to get this working with dreampi and online again

I think you’re still able to upload pics in jet set radio, other than that I’m not too sure other than a project someone told me about where it would allow you to email pics to yourself. I hope to find out what else we can do with it, I just ordered one and hope I can at least email photos to myself so I can print out just for the fun of it !

Yea it would be really cool if someone could get the webcam working with dreampi. That and dreamcall being resurrected would be huge!
