Point and Click on the Sega

Post by RobisMarshall »

Hello, I have recently decided I wanted to try out some point and click adventures for Sega systems. I have never played any in the genre so any recommendations are welcome I only ask that they are for a Sega system.

Sega systems in general ?
if so, you can start with Rise of the Dragon and Secret of Monkey Island for the Mega CD

I think these games were seen as somewhat dated by the time the dreamcast was coming out, so I can't really think of any other than Japanese visual novel kinda games, which are a little different.

If you're interested in the genre, you should really check out Lucas Arts' offerings from the 90s such as the monkey island series, Sam and Max, Full Throttle, etc. I think there is a dreamcast emulator for ScummVM, the engine Lucas Arts used for these, so you could thereby play stuff like Monkey Island and Sam and Max on the dreamcast.

I recommend Snatcher (Sega CD), Policenauts (Sega Saturn), For the Dreamcast I recommend Elansar & Philia, it is a indie game created by Orion!

Bounty Hunter Sarah.
It's a point and click story game, that's unfortunately, only in Japanese.
