DC metal fan

Just got my DC modded with the DCDigital and have ordered a 3D printed fan holder plus a Noctua fan without realizing I have some weird metal fan variant ... haven't been able to find any pics of this model .. just the one with the heatsink/metal fan combo.
My DC is a VA1, am I completely out of luck now doing the fan mod?

looks the same size as plastic one in other dc

I know. what I'm trying to say is the shape of the metal fan with plastic duct looks like same size as original plastic one from other dc. so I think you should be safe with the fan mod.
