Hello all,
I have 2 Dreamcast both are V1 PAL.
I ordered 2 GDEMU clones from different stores. (5.15b)
Made 3-4 different SD cards (different brand, size, content).
BUT: I have the same problem with both cards and console. (tried with both)
After turning on the console I see the default menu, the card glows red (constantly).
When I change the SD card, it reads for a second, but that's all.
Do you have any Idea what can be the Problem?

I have tried both gdemu with both console.
Each time the same result. (Permanent red light (led) and standard menu).
Data on the SD cards checked, theoretically looks good.
I even got an extra SD image, but no difference.

Ensure the SD card is formatted to FAT32, if it is a larger card Windows will automatically switch to NTFS or exFAT, which are not supported by GDEMU.

Thanks for the tip, but all SD is formatted to FAT32.

Did you check the file system on your SD card with your PC?uzsz wrote: Hi,

SD cards > 4GB are usually pre-formatted to exFAT out of the box.
Similarly, Windows will not format large cards to FAT32.

All SD is formatted to FAT32, all of my tools like partition Wizard 9 shows them as FAT32

a constantly glowing LED says only one thing, GDEMU does not see the SD card
there may be a problem with the soldering of the SD connector

All I can add is just keep trying it - take it out, wiggle it a bit, etc... Mine is an absolute headache and I'm now reasonably sure it's just badly soldered. I can see a blob of something which may be bridging two points. I tried scraping it a bit but no real luck.
Really study the soldering on the pins around the chips. If they're clean and it looks well-soldered then maybe it's an SD card issue.
