Hydro Thunder VGA
Has anyone been able to get Hydro Thunder to work with a VGA box? I've tried hex editing, and the unplug trick, both unsuccesfully. I don't suppose there is a VGA ready cdi anywhere out there? Thanks

Re: Hydro Thunder VGA
I can't get the original to work. The case doesn't show VGA support, not that that's definitive.

Re: Hydro Thunder VGA
it works if you put in a bootdisk first (this works on about half the games that don't support vga, it sorta 'tricks' em)
it isn't true vga, but at least they look good & run on a monitor/hdtv

Ah, Codebreaker, hasn't tried that one before. I had tried the Action Replay disc, no luck, but Codebreaker did work with my NTSC retail disc, although not with my CD-R. Perhaps I hadn't tried the retail with A. Replay, can't remember. Looks better via VGA than S-Video, thanks for the help.

Re: Hydro Thunder VGA
There is a boot disc to make Codebreaker works with CD-R though. I can upload it to Downloads section if you need it.
- Check Dreamcast-Talk Downloads Index and help uploading games too!

Re: Hydro Thunder VGA
I've got your boot disc Tux, got it and Codebreaker from snesorama, thank you very much for the offer though. I really appreciate your discs, keep up the excellent work! One question, I was unsure on the order of the boot disc. Do I use it before loading Codebreaker, or after Codebreaker but before the CD-R?
