Rush 2049 is kicking my ass...

I forgot how hard this game was. Even on the minimum difficulty it seems to require near-perfect racing to win (or for that matter catch the driver in 1st).

All of Rush are only fun to crash but racing them are a piece of shit

EDIT: 3/2049 seems hardest cuz also got to pop out wings and angle lands n chit

Rush 4 however.. lol I not put enough time in that sixth-gen title, LA Rush but that nods to Need For Speed, no explosions

In all the rush games it helps a lot to use manual transmission and then pick the harder to control vehicle options while being very gentle with the steering. It's not easy but it's worth persevering, they're great games.

The AI is relentless but it's not perfect, you'll still see them make mistakes and get into massive crashes. The real difficulty comes in finding the secret items in each course. Those are just a nightmare.

That game kicks almost everyones butt, even on the easy difficulty setting.
I still love that game though.

At its core, due to its gameplay, course design, and car variety, Rush has remained one of the most treasured racing games in my history but boy is it unfair.

Yes rush 2049 is hard but I think that's how games were back then. On of my favorite game series burnout is a prim example, but more derby style.
You love them but hate them at the same time.

Lest we forget this was an arcade game first, so the "difficulty" is baked in for quarter-munching. I wish they had tailored the game more for consoles though, at the very least some of those wicked 90-degree turns and some geometry placement.

It's hard but not that hard .. challenge is what makes it any good.. Like any arcade game it's made this way..
