PSO download quest question

Post by tenchi ryu »

so I REALLY want to play the downloaded quest from PSO but I have NO internet connection for my dreamcast at the moment. I thought my prayers were answered when the VMU backup cd with 3000 saves came out and I saw it had the quest on it. I downloaded it but it didn't work because of the files having someone's serials on them. Is there a way someone can take vmu save files .vms and .vmi on a disc with no one's serials so I can download them? I downloaded the quest from pso-world...and tried to put it on dream explorer, but it didnt work....can some one help me?

I Know your problem and unfortunatly i think going online is the only option.

Let's say impulse takes the actual quest files and puts them in a cd, even if you get them to your memory card using dream explorer i believe it wouln't work because they aren't tied with anything.
The quests teoricly only work when downloaded with pso, this way they will be tied with the serial, if they don't have a serial or if the serial is different i believe they won't work. (not sure)

Maybe making a pso disk with the quests will help, but i can't say if it's possible or not.

But like i said, i'm not sure if the quests will work when they aren't tied with any serial, the quest files you see online where uploaded by someone, meaning it only works for that person, so it's worthless.
