Some confusing about bit rate and 600kbps vs 600 kb/sec there not the same
kilobit/second not kilobyte/second
here is the facts

real file on sega retail game
2119kbps =264.875kb/sec
4400kbps left over from the disc drive at 4x speeds

3600kps =450 kb/sec

I have benchmarked and done the math cant do any better all movies from games stick tot he above it's a software decoding on mil cd your even more limited your not playing a 3600kb/sec video your playing a 3600 kps kilobit/second not kilobyte/second
