PSO ADVICE

For anyone interested in playing on our servers for PSO there are a few things you should know. This has been becoming a problem lately. Players FSOD or lose their items. Make sure you back up your character to avoid this problem. It is best you use Dream Explorer to do so. Another big problem is those using dial-up please understand we have server bugs so if a PC player joins you, you might get dc'ed. I know it is frustrating, but just reconnect and you should be okay. If not, we are here to help. PC players, please try to create your own teams and go into a different lobby so those trying to join the game do not have a connection problem. On another note, lately there have been a lot of complaints of PC players playing on the server and not using Dreamcast. Guess what, get over it! Not everyone has the luxury or time or money to get a BBA or set up a PC-DC connection. There is nothing wrong with that, they still love the Dreamcast just as much as us and they contribute, just as much! If you have such a problem with the PC players, do not play with them or lock your game with a password. One more thing I forgot to mention, you can save your character and everything in the lobby by typing:
/save <password> (saves your current char data on server, use in lobby)
/restor <password> (then quit otherwise it won't save)
/save <password> (saves your current char data on server, use in lobby)
/restor <password> (then quit otherwise it won't save)

there are ways to cut down on the chances of getting fsod, but it is mostly luck of the draw.
A few ways to help avoid fsod in pso dc:
Many claim that burning the .iso at the lowest speed possible will help.
You can use my modded iso to help cut down on the fsods. It seems to not fsod as frequent. It does allow you to play offline quests, unlike the other releases. But, there are some bugs in this release.
You can join a game after a game has already been made by another player. (Especially A PC Version PSO Players Game)
!!PC Version PSO player will 9 times out of 10 crash the DC Version PSO player when they join a game!!
Dont remain on Pioneer 2 when some1 joins a game.
Cross your fingers and kiss the principal's ass. <---This usually works
