so there isnt a server to meet up with people like PSO? we have to use friend codes like on the wii?

well you can play with a randomized team meating ur search criteria but to play with specific people you need friend codes. The codes for wfc were written before the DSi came out so it still works on the older method. Due to the fact there is no server like you mentioned, wfc play is free.
