Hello, when I use vga from the dc direct into the monitor, or through ossc with scart, i get these white dots appearing in games sometimes. It happens in a few different games. I observed the same thing happening with a streamer I watch who plays dc. So I am wondering if it is normal, or if it is caused by using gdemu in the system.
This video shows the dots in hydro thunder, you can see them at the top of the screen appearing intermittently, you have to put the video on full screen to see them properly:

Re: Display problem, is this normal?
I am having the same problem on my Dreamcast. I have a Mode and see very similar white flashing dots on both the GEM HDMI & Component out. I have another Dreamcast with a GDEmu and S-video that looks okay running the same roms.
It’s hard to find anyone with this problem online so that’s the reason I’m replying to your post from last year. I thought it was my HDMI install but if you don’t have HDMI maybe it is something on the board? Did you ever figure out what was causing it?
