So I was playing in a GDEmu Dreamcast and after an hour it froze the game. After that I turned it off and on again and the boot-up animation would just freeze too. After a few tries it just refused to give both video and audio.
It probably was an overheating error even though I used the three resistors 'hack' so 12 V would just redirect to them instead of heating up the console.
It's not the cables. It's also not the fan. The VMU beeps upon turning on but does not show anything. It's not my TV. I replaced the PSU for another one I had lying around and even cleaned up the IC-401 pins on the motherboard with Isopropyl alcohol. It's just not working.
My theory is that a chip blew up but I certainly do not know and I'm just asking for a little bit of help.
