Choosing a router pleeease advise

Post by mistamontiel »

I've had it with Comcastic Xfinity. I haaate how it turned dumbphone only to DMZ+forward. Now I can't even forward they don't update the application they refuse to acknowledge it's do-able no more

My real question is, DMZ+forwards aren't service provider enabled but that's the router you use? If so, here is my plan:

Look in the gizmos section @ Kirkland in Costco, now eight ethernet jacks would be superb! But every time I read boxes+sales pitches they look so fucking secure? But I don't want anti nothing I don't want walling fires, period

Get its config IP into my browser and just smooth sails? Now I wonder if multiple DMZs could be set?

Cheers in advance, very infuriating with the rental router

EDIT: Well in order to hook to my line it's got to have "RF" I mean coaxial input..
