PSO serial question

Hi everyone! Long time Dreamcast owner, only recently have I acquired a DreamPi and (soon) GDEMU setup. Looking to FINALLY play PSO online. I have a version 1 disc with a serial that I registered on my original (VA2) Dreamcast. I recently purchased a VA1 console so I could use GDEMU. I logged into Slyverant's server once on my PSO version 1 copy on my VA2 console. Wondering if I can re-register that serial on my VA1 console without any issues? I seem to remember something about possibly getting banned if people serial numbers on more than one console.

Additionally, I'd also like to acquire a copy of PSO version 2 secondhand so I have another serial number for that game. I assume unless someone has already used that serial on the Slyverant servers that I'm okay there?

I've three Dreamcasts with my v2 SNAK. You're good

A shared/generated SNAK you won't be able to register in Sylverant to participate in kill events and earn more goods

PSO Tool GUI apparently works but with a risk of registering a duplicate? Generate another? I remember PSOv2 new old stock just for a dub $20 alas I don't know what it is now

If you seek a used get confirmation from seller that the SNAK lies beneath the disc and is legible, n if that's been registered you can show BlueCrab AKA Sylverant its in your possession and he adjusts accordingly

Unfortunately used copies are around $70 on eBay today, but hey, that comes with the territory of owning a console that was only in production for a 2-3 years that's now 25 years old. At least it's cheaper than what my copy of Sonic Adventure 2 goes for nowadays ($250 ).

Ives' CDI (psopalace) fixes filesort too and autoconnects so it does wonders for your laser as opposed to the genuine GD that wreaks chaos with alpha sort
