Running into a weird issue with my VMUs where I have installed working batteries. It seems that every time I turn my console off my VMUs will beep and ask me to set the date and time. I have the setting configured in the Dreamcast options to sync the date/time from my system to my VMUs but that doesn't seem to be happening.
I also have replaced the CMOS battery in my console with a replacement battery holder and an ML2032 which has been working great. My console itself remembers the date/time, just none of my VMUs that have working batteries in them.
Am I missing something obvious here? Any help is greatly appreciated!
