Would LibreQuake be possible for a Quake DC port?

Like FreeDoom, LibreQuake appears to be a package of replacement assets for commercial Quake. It's not completely finished but the art style seems to capture the Lovecraft theme of the original game, and in some ways reminiscent of the early 1995/96 versions of Unreal.


It claims to be compatible with WinQuake but not DOSQuake - would it be possible to run on DC by way of inserting the package into a working Quake Port?
