I have a small hobby (trying to) repair broken Dreamcasts. I’ve seen a common trend with a lot of early Japanese VA0s is that the small motor gear on the GDRom drive is cracked.
After capacitor replacement and harvesting a gear from another drive most of them are playing fine again without needing to adjust the laser.
Since this requires cannibalism from another drive, I’m just wondering if anyone out there has made a 3D print replacement. I have seen them for cracked gears on 3DO and PC Engine CD but they aren’t designed for the DC drives.
Is there a 3D print replacement for the small GDROM drive gears?

I don't, but do you have a central repository where you document your findings?
