I need help dc-pc server with ubuntu 9.10

I looked at two diffrent guides on how to do a dc-pc server, even tried looking for a guide with videos and pictures... This is hard, I thought I could do it, but most of the stuff don't even make sense.. like after I sudo get-apt mgetty ppp

what do I do after that? how do I open it? then the guide goes and talks about editing and im like 0_0

So is there anyone that can give me like a straight walkthrough, maybe with pictures or a video?
