under rated \ unknown games?

hey whats up?
So do any of you have any games that are unknown or generally considered bad\average games but are actually pretty awesome?
I got Virtua Striker which I think is much more fun than what people say, it's not PES2011 but if you got a friend or two with you it's really funny and fun.
Also NBA Showtime, that game's gotta be the most fun I ever had with 3 friends on a console, more than any other 4 player game.
What are yours?

My favorite unknown game is Elemental Gimmick Gear, a 2D (mostly) adventure game similar in its style to Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. From what I heard, most reviewers bashed it because of its 2D graphics, but I personally prefer a game done right in 2D than some mediocre 3D game.

As for underrated games... Does I-Spy: Industrial Espionage count? Everyone I ever mentioned it to hated it, but I like its interesting gameplay and over the top characters. It's more of a guilty pleasure, really.

One game that comes to mind is Ooga Booga. It was released late in the DC's life so it probably isn't as well known. It's an excellent party game with a lot of cool modes and characters. Sorta like Super Smash Bros but full 3D.

Couple others that I haven't actually played but heard they are pretty good: Omikron: the Nomad Soul and Draconus: Cult of the Wyrm.

Chicken Run, if you enjoy stealth. Straight-up no-violence MGS/Tenchu with cartoon animals. It's plagued with camera issues but is really fun. Lots of goofy mini-games.

I absolutely love ooga booga. Whenever I can talk friends into playing it, it is an absolute blast.

I missed out on it online, I went with Outtrigger, UT, and Alien Front Online instead.

AF:O is a great game that I would love to see playable online on the xbox live arcade, too bad it probably will never happen.

I also enjoyed EGG, all though I have yet to beat it. Got pretty far though.

shadow man & urban chaos are 2 of my fav underrated game, the latter coz its basically GTA3, but 10 years before...well GTA3

If you liked the Tomb Raider games as well as the likes of Soul Reaver, then you should try Prince of Persia for Dreamcast. It's totally different to other titles in the franchise with more emphasis on puzzling.

It's a very pretty game too, though the animation can seem a little dated compared to other games in the series. The combat can also be a little rigid without the flowing rhythm of later games.

All in all, not the greatest game on DC but the puzzles, set-pieces and atmosphere will keep you hooked for the duration.

Zero Gunner 2.

Anyway, I say Shenmue 1 and 2 are underrated. Sure a few milion folks played it, but it still don't get the respect it deserves.

I've always wondered about how zero gunner 2 is controlled, its def on my to buy list,but it isn't cheap.

it looks awesome, but if the controls suck...
how does it work, since you don't have 1 analog stick to fly & 1 to rotate. it works on Armada, coz its a non linear space, but on topdown???
