Not sure how many of you own or have owned a Game Gear but I'm looking for some game recommendations. Here are the games I already have:

World Series Baseball '95
Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse
Deep Duck Trouble
Putt & Putter
The Lion King
Zool: Ninja of the "Nth" Dimension
Sonic The Hedgehog 2
Vampire: Master of Darkness
Sonic Spinball
Defenders of Oasis

Just picked up:
Desert Speedtrap starring Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote
Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya

I have a GameGear, although I can't make many recommendations because the only games I've played are the ones I've had and none of them seemed to be noticeably better then the other, I think Sonic Triple Trouble is better the Sonic The Hedgehog 2 on the GameGear though.

Hmmm, never heard of Triple Trouble. Although, honestly, I'm not a big fan of Sonic games  ... I know, I should probably be banned from the site... lol.

Your not the only one who's not a big fan of Sonic games. ;)

Triple Trouble was developed for the GameGear, and wasn't a Genesis port.

i have had many gamegears and a lot of games for it. atm i only have 18 of them. i wouldn't recommend that you go out and by to many of these games, but if you happen to see them cheap you should grab them. out of the 18 here i think these 6 are ok and ill name a few that are good. i also didnt mind Side pocket, but i liked it on Nintendo as a kid. a few of these games are not cheap.

Sonic Drift (ok)
Sonic CHAOS (best sonic game for GG)
ECCO the dolphin (ok)
Paperboy 2 (ok)
NBA Jams TE (ok)
Riddick Bowe boxing (ok)
Megaman (good) $40
Shining force sword of hajya (good) $20
Shining Force Gaiden (good) $not sure

Yeah, you're right, they aren't too cheap. I'll keep an eye out for good deals though. I do like paperboy but I'd probably be better off getting the SNES or Genesis version.

$100! Wow, that's a bit pricey. I might as well just buy the actual games.

or you could burn an emulator for the Dreamcast and try all of the games. if you like them, you can buy them for when your on the go with the gamegear.

I just got one of the Shining Force games (not sure which one) off eBay for $7.50. Someone had it in a lot but agreed to sell it to me separate. Good deal :)

I've played a bunch of games on the GG and I have to say that the following games would be worth picking up if you can find and afford them:

Mortal Kombat 1 or 2 (both pretty good)
Sonic Triple Trouble (Excellent game)
Chakan The Forever Man (brilliant action/platform)
Outrun
Fantastic Dizzy (awesome but v rare!)

Can't remember any others at the moment but I also have Sonic 1, 2, Drift, Chaos and I think Spinball too... all of which are good. I have Primal Rage but that's pretty god awful if I'm honest lol
