Re: World War 2 shooters?
Hidden and Dangerous is just about the only one on Dreamcast sadly.
I did have Dreammatrix port the Day of Defeat assets to the Dreamcast, and if you or anybody else knows how to mod Half-Life on Dreamcast, it would be great to see some maps ported from other WW2 HL mods and injected to the game.
You can dl the disc here, but the mod wasn't fully working, only 1 level can you even move around in, but the weapons look great, as they are official DOD models.
This is the moddb page of the mod, but keep in mind we need somebody to make maps for us is all.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AY0A4LR5This mod is realy good it has nice textures and models but ins´t working on DC
Unfortunately the map compiler that they used is not compatible with HLDC
The only way to port this mod is getting the .maps source
I descompiled some maps and compiled with another compiler only for see how it work on DC
And uploaded the files as a selfboot cdi image!
So, if someone wants start you own II Word-War mod
The only thing that you need do is mapping; and put your new maps on map folder.
Textures,models,sprites are inside and ready!

Re: World War 2 shooters?
When I finally drummed up the patience to get to grips with the controls and instructions I found Hidden and Dangerous to be a really great experience. It was an a multi award winning game on PC and I think the port is pretty successful. I'm really glad we've got it on the Dreamcast as WW2 games are a minority genre on the system.
I can't think of any other WW2 games though Army Men:Sarge's Heroes could be squeezed into that description I guess lol. And Iron Aces is a plane based WW2 game, though the makers of the game would have you believe otherwise-the names of the countries involved are changed etc

hidden and dangerous also has kb and mouse support. another world war 2 shooter is panzer front. its a tank game but it still counts as a shooter.
