PSO Online/Offline progress etc (Item discussion too!)

Hey guys, So I'm back online and its working perfectly, I've added Kireek and Mazonemayu but if any of you want to add me on the Sylverant server go ahead, my guild card is in my Sig.

Couple of things I wanted to just share with you all, a friend of mine who also used to be big into DC/PSO online has, after hearing it from me, purchased a BBA and will be back online pretty soon so there's another member right there! I'm currently trying to persuade him to join DCT as well so bear with me lol

I also just finished PSO v2 on normal and will begin working through Hard very soon... can't wait for the sudden leap in exp!! so next time I play I will be able to get into hard games with you all as I am now level 23!

Regarding Items I found my first Special Weapon with this new character Offiline yesterday, got the AGITO from a Dark Belra on Ruin 1, so hopefully this is a good sign that I will start to get some nice item drops. I am 100% legit and will only trade legit items but I am open to trading if anyone needs anything, if I can assist I'm more than happy to.

I've also downloaded ALL the side quests on the server and I started trying to do the central dome fireswirl mission and to my horror the Hilde Bears at the end are ABSOLUTELY impervious to damage at my current level. I thought all the DL quests difficulties scaled to match the level you chose to play them in? Is that not the case? do I have to be a ridiculously high level before I can even consider attempting to beat them again? Anyone who's played this one I'd be grateful for any helpful advice.

Feel free to discuss items you've found here as I'm very interested to hear what special weapons people and classes who play legit can find online AND offline... My ultimate goal is to one day find the Soul Banish again, I am pretty sure I found that while online within someone elses game, my section id is Purplenum so I don't think I can find it offline. Anyway discuss away!!!

Oh that quest
Sega added a unique thing to that quest, those hildebears are as strong as ultimate hildelts, so you will only be capable of defeating 100% of the quest when you can beat atleast ultimate forest.
A char even at lvl 80 will strugle against those beasts

aaah... ok so then I haven't done anything wrong then and it IS expected behaviour, THATS all right then lol.

So I sorted out the friendadd thing and it seemed to work, don't know if you've added me yet but I will see when I get some play in next week. Is there anyone else who plays regularly around the GMT time zone?

Any interesting item finds lately with your legit guy then mate? I started finding Pallasch's etc in the 3rd ruin and my first Rail gun, I had forgotten about all the different weapons that you can find, I'm running a Gigush, Autogun, Mechguns and my Agito at the moment but I'm pretty anal with my stats so depending on the level I go on I will choose different weapons if they have more % on native, Machine, Dark etc

Is there a list of what Items I can expect to find being Purplenum at all? I might make myself a RAmar again at some point as I like the mix of good long range, proficient with techs AND not bad power.... I miss techs I must admit

I haven't played seriously in ages really and my finds aren't spectacular, thos only happen once in every 6 months or so
Believe me, onve you reach vhard and ultimate, you will find lot's of different rares.
I already added you to the friendlist yes.

cool thanks, yeah I remember the days of playing through V Hard and Ultimate, it was a shame once I started using codes though as it almost seemed that the game went out of its way to just give me absolutely nothing. Which is why I've decided to just go legit from now.

If anyone else has found anything of note lately let me know what level you were at, difficulty you were playing and section id, I'd be interested to hear what other Purplenum players have been finding

My main char is a racaseal in purplenum, she's prancing around in ultimate but has just horrible horrible luck when it comes to finding items.

My Hucast is in red, and he seems to have absurd lick at finding items that I simply never will use, so much that I've decided to just collect everything. He's found that aura armor the moths drop rarely in ultimate forest at least three times, none of them have any sockets for units. He's found a joint parts (I think it was him), and all theunique force items with completely ridiculous percent (45% and multi stats alm over the place).

But the things i want, a berdysh and frozen shooter, things ive been trying and hunting for? Nope, the game wont give them to me.

That site seems mostly correct, just make sure your looking under the right game (dreamcast v2) as many items are on multiple games, and might accidently be linked under dreamcast findable, but it won't drop.

so I'm level 26 now and last night myself and my friend Mobius got our asses kicked on Forest hard!! I'd forgotten how large the gap was between hard and normal!! I've started to find halberts and Pallasch etc but nothing fantastic at the moment, guess I will have to wait until very hard huh.

Oh yea, I'm on every now and then, I run two systems so I can play two characters together. Mostly late nights near the beginning of the week.
