trying to find info for pod speedzone / 2 servers?

I completely forgot about this game until I saw a copy up for sale, at its now normal excessively low price. I think I just pitched and dismissed this game completely around 2003 when I realized that without online play, the game was empty and had nothing.

I read that the European server for this went down before the US server did, so I don't think this was held up by GameSpy, was it?

The irony is.that this is a sequel to an excellent pc game, did this ever get released on anything other than dreamcast?

And is thee any way to access the online content now? Like how one can gain the unreal tournament online stuff?
