I actually always thought it was pretty cool never having relied on the internet to order games. There was something really cool about finding something amazing at a pawn shop (like my PAL Shenmue 2 find!) or garage sale. Also, when I first got into the DC a few years back I didn't know much about any of the games so I would often pick them up at random. Incoming tends to get bashed pretty hard but I found it for a buck and its actually one of my favorite games on the system. I never would have ordered it if I sat around and read reviews and I think that's part of the appeal to doing things the way I was
. Using Amazon and such is much more efficient and I truly believe I've scoured half the state finding everything Dreamcast related I can but I'm going to miss the hunt.
Btw, I just checked out CEX and it didn't appear to have Dreamcast games sadly
. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place though? Let me know because the site sounds pretty cool
and I have found 60 amazing games just from searching locally over the past couple of years (including Shenmue 2!). I've always loved hopping in the car and taking that two hour drive to orlando with some buddies in hunt of rare Dreamcast shit but that all comes to an end today! Omikron just looks so damn cool and I can't find it anywhere local. For as cool and ridiculous as it sounds I never hear much talk on it so I would love to hear the thoughts of the community while I await its arrival
