what screen recording softwarez do you people recommend? I wanna start recording some Quake Live footage...as well as when we go on our Frag Fest in Q3...

1 warning though I think I recorded for like 4 mins once and it was like 1 gig
so make sure you have disk space

but I heard you need a high end video card...last time I tried fraps the video looked like if I was watching a rotten VHS...you could see vertically colored lines all over and the free version only lets you record for 30 seconds at most!!!

I have the full latest version, considering i have 75% of free space, i don't mind using fraps, atleast i know quality is guaranteed.

Other solution is hypercam.

the first time I tried fraps[thanks to K_I_R_E_E_K] I got a pure lag video...hahaha...I beleive I have a post somewhere around these forums.

All I needed to do is put crappy graphics and boom....I started getting better looking videos!

If you want to use some screen recording software to help you record screen action, you should choose the right program. The one I used can help me capture whatever streaming video and audio files on screen with high quality, and it will also help me save it to standard video file.

FRAPS works good I use it to record some of my games in 1080P.
