I know I spent about $100 total last year. And prior to last year I hadn't spent anything for several years.
Back in the day, my original DC cost about $80, additional controllers, vmus, and a brand new DC keyboard together probably cost at least $80 too back in the day. Shenmue II back in the day cost me about $60. I only ever picked up a couple of brand new expensive DC games, but that would have been at least $200 for maybe 5 games around $40. Then I have at least a dozen games I picked up for between $10-$30 back in the day, let's say that's 12 games at $30 because I'm probably forgetting a bunch of games I bought instead of getting as gifts... that's at least $360

So conservatively, I've easily spent at least $800 on dreamcast stuff. dang
Sounds like a lot when you add it all up, and this was with getting most of my collection used. I have 34 games still on my want list (including some pricey imports and yet to release games such as Sturmwind) and I was hoping I could collect most of my want list for under $200, but at the end of the day, that's overly optimistic when most of the games would cost me $10-$15 (and shipping) each, and there are a handful of pricey imports on the list too XDI'm going to have to spread my collecting over a couple of years to keep it in a reasonable budget for me. But at the same time, it's almost crazy to think my collection will have taken over $1000 after I pick up another 10-15 US games, or a couple of pricey imports. It's given me a lot of entertainment over the years though
